Flax Lily (Dianella caerula)

A groundcover plant growing to 1 metre.  Bright blue flowers with a prominent yellow anther occur on 1 metre branched spikes in spring and summer. Flower pollen is mango coloured.

The round fruits are bright blue/purple and edible (eat 1 or 2 only).
