
A small, slender rainforest palm to 5 metres, found in NSW and QLD.
It has a crown of weeping fronds.
Hanging flower spikes to 30cm are followed by a long string of red fruits each autumn.
The edible flesh is sweet with a peppery aftertaste.
After 30 years, the root may be dug out to become the top of your walking stick.
